International Babyloss Mother's Day 2011

Last year I had an amazing IBLMD with two wonderful mommas. I wrote about it here.

For those unfamiliar with International Babyloss Mother's Day, you can visit the official website to learn more.

I knew that I defnitely wanted to have another meet up again this year. Unfortunately Stephanie was unable to attend but I did meet up with Kristin from Once A Mother again..

Last year at our balloon release we had a beautiful thing happen. When looking at the pictures of the release we saw three baby faces in the clouds. You can read about & see the pics on that post. It was an amazing sign from our little girl's. As a gift this year Kristin brought me a picture of the release in a beautiful angel frame with Janessa's name in beads across the top.

A crazy detail about this is we all became pregnant very shortly after that day. I was already but did not know yet. We have all gone on to have healthy rainbow babies. Actually Kristin went on to have twins!

We met up with our children & husbands. We had lunch at a park, went for a walk and then visited Janessa's grave. We had visited Kristin's daughter Peyton's grave last year. At the cemetery we released some balloons in honor of our daughter's.

I find that last shot breathtaking.

I wish we would have had more time that day but JJ had baseball practice that afternoon.

We did not get a chance to snap a pic of the rainbows but we are hoping to meet up again soon.

Thank you Kristin for sharing this special day with me again.

I feel so much when I look at these pictures. I know there is a message there from our girls, it just takes us a few looks to figure it out. I feel a beautiful sense of peace from that last one. Thank you Mal, for being a wonderful friend and for sharing IBMD with me. I loved seeing Janessa's grave. It is just beautiful. xoxo

*hugs* I am glad you were able to spend IBLMD with a fellow BLM. We need to plan our New England get together now that all the rainbows are here :)
